1. Open AMEDTEC ECGPro software.
2. Select ‘File’ and ‘Options’
3. In the options select ‘Protocols’ in the ’12 Lead ECG’ tab.
4. Select the protocol that needs changing via the dropdown window.
5. Once a protocol has been selected the warm up stage will need to be inserted into the protocol table. To do this:
- Click on the stage of the protocol directly after the resting stage and click the ‘Insert new stage’
- A new stage will be inserted between ‘Stage 1’ and ‘Resting’. Rename this stage as ‘Warmup’ (The pencil icon indicates a section is being edited somewhere along the row) and press the return key to save the name change.
- Change the ‘Type’ to ‘Exercise’ click inside the ‘Ramp’ section, this will allow the ‘Ramp, Duration and Load’ sections of the table to be edited.
- Ensure the ‘Ramp’ is un-ticked, The ‘Duration’ is set for the required amount of warmup time, and the ‘Load’ is set a 0W.
- Press the return key to save the changes.
- The preview graphic of the ramp at the top will now show 0 Watt warm up section at the start of the test.
- Click ‘Save’ at the bottom of the page to save the changes to the protocol, and ‘OK’ to exit the ‘Options’ menu.
*To change multiple protocols the same process must be followed for each*
