The Amedtec ECG Pro installation is tied to the PC name the application is installed on for SQL DB user authentication purposes. Any other PC that wants access to the database must be added to the Approved User list on the Master system (usually the testing station unless you have a DB server)
The default Login for Amedtec User Management is:
- Username sa
- Password AMEDTEC ECGpr0 (last digit is zero)
On the Master system do the following:
1. Open Amedtec ECG Pro
2. Click on File in top left-hand corner
3. Click Options
4. Scroll down the left-hand panel to User management
Here you can see a list of approved PC names with access to the database.
5. Click Create New User
6. Enter the PC name as the Login name & Full Name. Ensure that both “User can login with password” & “Use integrated security” are ticked.
7. In the Password & Confirm Password boxes, enter a password that is unlikely to change (if you enter the Users current password, this may change over time depending on your IT policy. When using integrated security, this password won’t match the stored one).
8. Click OK when the User has been setup. Click OK to exit the User Management screen.
9. Open Amedtec ECG Pro on the workstation PC. When the login screen appears, enter your new Login Name & password.
Ensure that Use integrated security is ticked.
