Blue Cherry & Multiple Windows Users

Perform a Single Workstation installation under a login who has Admin rights on the PC

Blue Cherry will install to C:\Program Files\Geratherm Respiratory GmbH\Blue Cherry 

The config.xml file will install to C:\Program Data\Geratherm Respiratory GmbH\Blue Cherry 

For Multiple Windows Users to access the same copy of Blue Cherry, you need to use Windows Authentication in the config.xml file.

Multiple Windows Users must be added to the list of owners of the local database in SQL Management Studio. 

The default username & password for the SQL database if none was set during installation is:

1. Username: sa 
2. Password:  Blue123Cherry

This must be done for each user.

Within Blue Cherry, each of the Windows Users you’ve set up in the SQL Management Studio can be put in User Groups with different access rights to features of Blue Cherry i.e the ability to change/delete/import/export  patient data or tests. 

Once you’ve opened Blue Cherry, enter Setup:

Select Users from the left-hand menu:

Under User Groups you can set what level of permissions each group has. 

Under Users you can define which group each individual user is part of.
