Blue Cherry Ergospirometry Setup

 Open Blue Cherry, Click ‘Setup’ and ‘Advanced’




Select the ‘Interface’ header and then ‘External ECG’ and from the drop down select ‘Amedtec’ 






ECG mode: ‘Blue Cherry is Master’ ECG Program: C:\Program Files\AMEDTEC ECGpro\s05Main.exe (Depending on your version of windows this may be located in program files x86) 





  • Arguments: Leave Blank ECG
  • Caption: ‘AMEDTEC’ 
  • Second screen: ‘ECG program’
  • Events: Customer Choice
  • ECG report: Leave Blank


Independent test end: Tick ‘Cancel / Save test allowed independent of ECG’ 


File encoding: ‘Windows Central Europe (1250) Connection timeout: ‘20’ s Start file: ‘C:\GDT\ecgstart.gdt’ Online file: ‘C:\GDT\ecgonline.dat’ Results file: ‘C:\GDT\ecgresults.gdt’ Profile file:  ‘C:\GDT\profile.dat’ Reference values: Tick ‘Use reference values from ECG (Only ECGPro > V3.66) Stop Reason: Tick ‘ Use stop reason entered ECG’ GUI: Untick ‘Adapt GUI to Amedtec ECGPro’ Forward load to Ergometer: Untick ‘Forward load to ergometer (setup ECGpro to use demo device)





Once all of the information has been input click accept. 

 

Before you start this procedure ensure you have a file on your (C:) drive called GDT. If you do not have one, create one and ensure you have permissions to it.



Open AMEDTEC and select ‘File’ then ‘Settings’ 


Scroll down the sidebar to the gold star with the header ‘Medical information system links’ and select ‘Ergospirometry’


Tick the boxes ‘Enable Plugin’ & ‘Use this Plugin for acquisition’ at the top of the page 



In this section there are 3 tabs to configure ‘General’, ‘Import’ & ‘Export’.


In the ‘General Tab’ select ‘Geratherm Blue Cherry (version 1.1) – Blue Cherry is Master




In the ‘Import’ tab create the file ‘Path’ to your GDT folder and the ‘File name’ is ‘ecgstart.gdt’, change the ‘Character encoding’ to ‘1250 – Central European (Windows)



In the ‘Export tab under the ‘File with measurement data’ section ensure the ‘Path’ is your GDT folder, the ‘File name’ is ‘ecgonline.dat’, the ‘File name (for protocol)’ is ‘profile.dat’ and ‘Character encoding’ is ‘1250 – Central European (Windows)’. In the ‘Results’ section ensure the ‘Path’ is your GDT folder, the ‘Filename’ is ‘ecgresults.gdt’ and the ‘Character encoding’ is ‘1250 – Central European (Windows) 



Once this has been setup click ‘Save’ and ‘OK’
