How to Create User Accounts & Groups in Blue Cherry

Blue Cherry Setup of User Accounts and Groups

 

The user settings in blue cherry allow you to configure specific user accounts and groups

User account settings can be found in the “Setup Advanced Menu”, Users.

 

Available Options 

 

Login Required  

If activated this enables user login after starting blue cherry, the account details will need to be entered before gaining access to the software.

 

Auto Logout

If activated a user will be logged out automatically after a set period of inactivity, this can be setup in “Auto Logout Time”

 

Physician 

This option allows a list of physicians to be shown at login allowing people to login with specific accounts.  

 

Ward  

This option allows login as a specific ward and will be shown if activated on the login screen.

 

Test Start Login

If activated the user will be prompted to login before beginning a test.



User Groups

 

In this menu you can setup and manage Blue cherry user groups by default there are two user accounts setup, Administrator & Reviewer


Settings 

Function 

Name

Name of the user group

Setup System 

If activated the users in the displayed group are able to change the configurations within the blue cherry setup

Setup Users 

If activated users in the displayed group are able to add new users to the blue cherry system

Patient Handling 

Adjust which rights the users of this group have access to, in relation with patient data, e.g ability to add or remove patients

Tests

Adjust which test the users of the selected group, should be able to start and which rights they have in relation to the particular type of measurement, e.g. if they have the rights to edit or change the settings within a measurement.

Comments 

Adjust weather and at which measurement types the user of this group are able to insert comments and if they are able to change the comments inserted.




Within the patient handling tab there is a setup button, pressing this button allows you to specify the user rights for the user account you’ve selected.


Settings 

Function

Add 

If activated, the users of this group are able to add new patients.

Review 

If activated, the users of this group are able to View patient data.

Change 

If activated, the users of this group are able to change or modify the patient data.

Delete 

If activated, the users of this group are able to delete patient data.

Import 

If activated, the users of this group are able to import patient data.

Export 

If activated, the users of this group are able to export patient data.



After selecting the Setup or Add button in the comments tab the following window will appear allowing you to make changes for rights to modify comments.


Measurement Types

Adjust for which measurement types these rights should apply to

Review

If activated, the user of this group are able to view  patient data

Change

If activated, the users of this group are able to change or modify patient data.



User Accounts 

In the user accounts tab you have the ability create or add user accounts or move them up & and down to change their order of appearance. After selecting a user the following settings are available in the configuration tab

Name of the individual user

User group

Determine which user group the selected user should belong to

Password

Enter a user specific password

Repeat password

Option to enter password     a second time
