Problem: Cannot open Blue Cherry because it cannot create a database, this refers to a date stamp that may have been added to the SQL Server Primary Database files .mdf & .LDF.
HOW TO FIX:
1. Open ‘SQL Server Configuration Manager’ and ‘Stop’ the service to the ‘SQL Server (GERRESPSQLSERVER)’
2. Locate the ‘SQL Server Data Files (GerathermRespiratory.mdf & GerathermRespiratory_Log.LDF)’
Usual Location: C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Data
– although could be Program Files (x86)
3. Remove the date stamp from the filename.
4. In the ‘SQL Server Configuration Manager’ ‘Start’ the service to the ‘SQL Server (GERRESPSQLSERVER)’.
5. Open Blue Cherry.
