For 2024 upwards Bodystik devices, auto calibration can be enabled in the device information settings.
the differences:
- It's first creating a positive pressure (with the auto calibration pump) in the cabin to determine the positive time constant
- Then it creates a negative pressure to determine the negative time constant
- The final time constant is then the average of both time constants
and the advantages:
- It is always calibrated with the same pressure and it does not depend on how hard the user closes the door to build up the pressure
- It is less affected by thermal disequilibrium
