*NOTE: THIS IS ONLY COMPATABLE WITH VERSIONS 1.2.2.1 AND UPWARDS, ANY VERSIONS LOWER WILL NOT HAVE ACCESS TO THIS FEATURE.*
1. Open Blue Cherry and open the ‘Setup’ menu.
2. Click the ‘Advanced’ button (if not already set).
3. Browse to the ‘Interfaces’ tab and then select ‘External ECG’ from the sub tab.
4. Half way down the ‘External ECG’ page is an option for ‘ECG report’ click the @Setup’ button.
5. On the hard drive of the computer locate the GDT folder (e.g. C:\GDT); in this folder create two more folders named; ‘PDF reports’ and ‘PDF history’
6. A new window will open with 3 options, in the ‘ECG report path’ option select the file path for the ‘PDF reports’ as created in step 5 (e.g. C:\GDT\PDF reports) In the ‘Report handling’ option select ‘Move report to directory’ option from the dropdown. In the ‘Move to’ option select the file path for the ‘PDF history’ as created in step 5 (e.g. C:\GDT\PDF history). Click Accept.
7. Browse to the ‘Printing’ tab, in the Blue Cherry Setup menu then select the ‘Template sets’ sub tab.
8. In the ‘Reports’ section on the right hand side of the window click the ‘Add (+)’ button.
9. From the list shown select ‘ECG report (CPET)’ then click ‘Accept’
10. Tick the ‘Auto pdf export’ box.
11. On the local drive create the folder ‘Patient Export PDF’.
12. In the ‘pdf export path’ select the file C:\Patient Export PDF
13. In the Scheme section click the ‘insert’ button and click on the parameters to name the PDF (e.g. <Patient ID><Name><First Name>.pdf = 1DemoDirk.pdf).
*Only one parameter can be selected per insert
14. Click ‘Accept’ and close Blue Cherry.
15. Open AMEDTEC ECGPro.
16. Click ‘File’ and select ‘Options/Settings’ from the dropdown.
17. Scroll down to ‘Medical information system links > GDT interface’
18. As in step 5 create 1 more folders ‘GDT File history’
19. Tick ‘Enable plugin’, under the ‘GDT file history’ tick ‘Keep GDT files’ and name the ‘Path’ C:\GDT\GDT File history
20. In the ‘Import’ tab, change the ‘Path’ to C:\GDT\Input, the ‘File name’ to ‘input.gdt’ and the ‘Character encoding to ‘1250 – Central European (Windows).
21. In the ‘Export’ tab, change the ‘Path’ to C:\GDT\Output, the ‘File name’ to ‘output.gdt’ and the ‘Character encoding to ‘1250 – Central European (Windows).
22. In the ‘Attachment’ tab, ensure the ‘PDF file’ tick boxes are ticked for the following; Resting ECG, Rhythm ECG, Stress ECG and PDF. Change the ‘Path’ to C:\GDT\PDF Reports, the ‘File name’ to ‘ecgtest (the file extension .pdf will be automatically generated). Tick ‘SCP file’ for ‘Resting ECG, Rhythm ECG and Stress Test’, and Tick ‘PDF file’ for ‘Resting ECG, Rhythm ECG, Stress Test and PDF’.
23. No changes need to be made to the ‘Additional fields’ tab.
24. Click ‘Save’ then ‘OK’ to make the changes.
